Welcome to Denver Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta

Welcome to Denver Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta!!!

Thanks so much for visiting our website and checking us out. It is with great excitement that we welcome you to our site and hope you find it useful. The Denver Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta provides many different opportunities for all Gamma Phis to get involved. The Denver Metro Area has more than 2,000 Gamma Phi Betas, from new initiates to 75-year members. Our membership is quite diverse and includes women from different professions and all parts of the country. Our new LINKS program offers our sisters ways to connect with old friends and meet new people while doing something of interest. You can check out our calendar to find out about our upcoming monthly events or explore an area of interest with a LINKS group.

We are fortunate to have Gamma Phi Beta's International Headquarters right here in Denver, and many of our members work or volunteer their time there. We support Theta Chapter at the University of Denver and provide advisors and house corporation board members to support this award-winning collegiate chapter. Our chapter and its members also reach out to the other Colorado collegiate Gamma Phi Beta chapters-Tau Chapter at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and Beta Rho Chapter at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

The Denver Alumnae Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta has earned several noteworthy awards including: The Hall of Fame, Outstanding Alumnae Service, and the Diamond Circle of Excellence (several times). In addition to participating in our local alumnae activities and supporting collegiate chapters, members from our chapter also contribute at the international level. Historically, we have supported philanthropies related to our international philanthropy of camping for girls including: a local Gamma Phi Beta Camp; Girl Scouts; One Day; Girls, Inc.; and most recently, CampFire USA. We also contribute to other important philanthropies each year, and we have supported NGA (New Garments Always) since the 1920's.

As we approach our chapter's 100th anniversary, we strongly believe in our lifetime commitment to Gamma Phi Beta, and we offer many, many ways to get involved in our sisterhood. You can attend an event, join a LINKS group, serve as an officer, pay your dues, become a LINKS leader, support Theta Chapter as an advisor, work on the Theta HCB, sell gift wrap, participate as a committee member, contribute to one of our many philanthropies, or help us in other ways. We know that your participation will contribute to the growth of our chapter.

You will find a place among us. Please join us and share your interests and experiences. We are looking forward to getting to know you as a sister and a friend.

Gamma Phi Beta's Mission Statement:

Our mission is to foster a nurturing environment that provides women the opportunity to achieve their potential through life-long commitment to intellectual growth, individual worth, and service to humanity.
